Bobbie was SO great!! She came to our rehearsal which was so helpful for us to figure out how we would walk in. She kept me feeling so at ease and I think just her calm nature really helps to feel stress and anxiety free. Bobbie really took the time to understand our hopes for the ceremony and to make it super personal to us. She had a lot of great suggestions in order to include everyone. She is very patient and I kept telling everyone that she was my therapist because she was able to help talk out my stress factors and keep me at ease both the day before and the day of.

Working with Bobbi was an absolute pleasure from day one. I really liked her personality and whole vibe as we were looking for someone with some spirit but not super religious. She was so easy to talk to and extremely accommodating. My husband and I run a business together and tend to get very busy and sometimes forget about things when we get caught up especially when trying to plan a wedding. She was so patient and pleasant even when we forgot something. The rehearsal dinner and wedding went perfectly and I would do it all over again if I could. Bobbi very kindly agreed to take our ceremony with two days notice, the minister we originally booked had a family emergency and could no longer take our ceremony - we initially panicked, but as soon as Bobbi was in touch, our minds were put at rest, Bobbi was great! She kept in touch, answering any questions we had, confirming arrival on the wedding morning, which really put my mind at ease considering we are from the UK! Bobbi conducted a beautiful ceremony, we would recommend her to anybody thinking of getting married in NY! Thank you for making it so special Bobbi :) xx

“When my baby daughter was born, I wanted to have a ceremony to welcome her into the world and bless her in this life. Being a very spiritual person, but not religious, I was imagining something that would involve our whole extended family and take the place of a traditional “Christening”.
Bobbie Ellis created a beautiful and touching Baby Blessing Ceremony for us, and it was all I could have imagined and more! She listened carefully to my vision and included things that were important to us, and expanded on that foundation, and created something that was truly lovely and meaningful. The ceremony was rich with symbolism and metaphor, lit by candles, and full of love. Bobbie involved participation from our parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins, which made it even more special for the whole family. It was an experience we all remember warmly.

“Bobbie Ellis was my yoga teacher and mentor years prior to my wedding. I knew shortly after getting engaged that she would be an obvious choice to officiate our wedding. For those that know her from services at her yoga studio, you would already be familiar with her personal style of warmth, wisdom, compassion, and depth. For those that have not had that experience, it becomes readily apparent after meeting Bobbie, that she in an individual that never does anything half way. Prior to our wedding, she guided us in understanding how to think about our wedding event and the meaning behind it.
